Qirate – the location intelligence service for assessing the quality of life in urban areas for real estate and tourist purposes – has been selected by ESA and the Italian Space Agency (ASI) experts to enter ESA BIC Lazio and will benefit a two-year technical and business support for the integration of satellite data into the service to cover Europe as a whole.
Grown at Cresco Coworking in Ravenna and recently selected at CoLaboRA, we are now expanding to Rome with a new operating headquarters at Tecnopolo Tiburtino.
ESA BIC Lazio is part of the European Space Agency (ESP) Technology Transfer Program (TTP) to facilitate the use of space technologies and systems for commercial and commercial applications (products and / or services) and includes incubation and financial support for startups (the company will in fact receive 50,000 euros for the service development).
“We are so excited and feel so honoured and proud”, commented Angela Corbari, our Chief operanting officer,” having passed such a difficult selection and having also received important approvals from Europe’s top experts in the Earth Observation world is a very important acknowledgment that pays us back the hard work done so far and motivates us to do even better and better “
Qirate was presented to ESA Director-General Johann-Dietrich Woerner and Josef Aschbacher Director of the ESA / ESRIN Earth Observation Center for Excellence Center as a project representative of the 10 new incubated startups during the first visit of the ESA’s number one o in an incubator of the Agency that was held on June 15 in Rome at Tecnopolo Tiburtino.
