The Climate Innovation Summit is the most important event on innovation and climate change where to meet businesses, researchers and policy leaders.
Participating means knowing the most cutting-edge strategies and instruments put in place in Europe on the road to a neutral-carbon economy.
The challenge faced in this year’s theme was to design smart cities through urban and technological innovations and giving tools for building effective sustainability policies. The event was held at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan on October 30.
And with great honor we had been invited to present our Qirate solution as a tool for assessing the quality of life at street level as meaningful metric to citizens, entrepreneurs, urban planners and researchers.
Our speech was in the Igniting Possibilities session: Start-up Pitch Session, immediately after the interventions by Gian Luca Galletti, Environmental Minister and Kirsten Dunlop, CEO of Climate-KIC, Mark Watts, executive director of the C40 (Climate Leadership Group connects 90 of the world’s greatest cities, representing 650+ million people and one quarter of the global economy) and Catia Bastioli CEO of Novamont. It was really a fantastic experience, full of ideas, reflections, comparisons and new collaborations.
Climate KIC is a strategic partner for our Startup and we are proud to have been selected at both stages of the Accelerator Program, thus benefiting not only direct funding but also, above all, a leading European network for innovation in cities of the future.
Next date with Climate KIC will be the Ecomondo Fair in Rimini
